Wash the Brussel sprouts.

Trim the ends and discard outer leaves that come off along with it.

Place in a large enough saucepan and add enough water to come up to about 1 inch from the bottom of the pan. Sprinkle with salt. Place lid on top.

Turn on the heat to Medium. Once the water starts boiling reduce to medium-low and continue to cook for about 10 minutes total.

The sprouts should still be vibrant green and cooked perfectly through.

Remove lid and serve hot.
