A classic foolproof way make perfectly crisp bacon every time!
Servings: 7
Cook Time: 12 minutes minutes
Total Time: 12 minutes minutes
Remove the bacon from the fridge 15 minutes prior to cooking to allow it to come to room temperature.
Cut the bacon slices in half. This will ensure that the bacon slices are not too long for the pan. Arrange the slices on a cast iron skillet so that they do not overlap.
Turn on the heat to medium. Not preheating the pan allows the fat in the bacon to render slowly yielding more consistent results.
Cook for 8 – 12 minutes, turning at least once in between.
Remove to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb the additional grease.
Serve immediately.
